Compare the same task

Before migrating, document the input, expected output and acceptance conditions, along with the current protocol and application settings. Separate changes in model choice, context and application logic. If several conditions change together, inspect them individually instead of blaming every difference on the endpoint.

Choose redacted cases for success, refusal, timeout and partial output. Define what the application should display, retain and consider finished. The migration record should let another person repeat the checks without relying on memory.

Connect your application traces

Create an application correlation identifier when the task enters the system and pass it through your own components. Give each outbound attempt a separate identifier, sending time, model and state. Keep external response identifiers separately when available; do not assume they match your task identifier.

Log necessary summaries rather than complete prompts, code or attachments. Establish access and retention before collecting sensitive samples. Use clear time conventions across components and retain both event time and receipt time when those distinctions matter.

Interpret callbacks and retries in context

For an asynchronous result, identify the attempt, its task and the current task state. Do not discard every late event: it may contain final usage or completion evidence. Decide separately whether to update the record and whether to change the result currently shown to the user.

Preserve an unknown outcome after a timeout and inspect available records. Never automatically replay side-effecting payments, messages or writes because of a network error. If a read-only task permits retries, bound them in the application and include extra attempts in usage checks.

State what the evidence supports

Run the same acceptance cases against both integrations, checking parsing, completion and failure paths. Record differences that need interpretation. Distinguish repeatable failures, isolated samples and unresolved causes; a few successful calls do not establish long-term behavior.

NexoToken provides multi-model API access, account credits and usage records. Check current documentation, models and pricing, then correlate available platform records with your application traces. Keep redacted clues and time windows when records do not align rather than inventing missing usage.
